Biblical Foundations

  • Marriage is between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:18-25)

  • Christian marriage is monogamous. Christianity does not condone polygamy (1 Corinthians 7:2; 1 Thessalonians 4:2-5)

  • The marriage bond is a bond that has been united by God, therefore there is no known word for divorce because God hates divorce
    (Matthew 19:6; Mark 10:9; 1 Corinthians 7:10-11)

We provide pastoral marriage service for all Ensample Church members. We can also assist in planning, preparation, and implementation of the Holy Matrimony.
